For doctors managing their professional listing
🔲 Looking for My Medicus (patient login)?
What you give your patients when you hand them a Medicus card before their trip:
Their doctor at home — with them, anywhere in the world.
Level 3 membership gives you 4 quiet tools to deepen the doctor-patient relationship — and a permanent place in our 247,000-strong global directory.
Your patient Mr. Hansen comes in for his 6-month check-up. He mentions he's flying to Florida next week. You print a Medicus card — his name, blood type, allergies, your contact — and hand it to him.
"Have a great trip, Mr. Hansen — my number is on the card. On me."
Mr. Hansen has chest pain. Paramedic finds the card, scans QR — full record on phone in 30 seconds. They call ahead to Mount Sinai with his blood thinners and bypass history. Hospital is ready when he arrives.
The cardiologist in Florida sees your name on the card. She calls you directly. You answer. You know Mr. Hansen — his history, his quirks, his preferences. You and the Florida cardiologist coordinate care across the Atlantic. Mr. Hansen recovers. He flies home. He comes back to you for the rest of his life — and so do his children.
That's not a directory. That's not a subscription. That's a bridge between two doctors and one patient — and the bridge starts with a €0.10 piece of paper you handed him at his check-up.
Give a card to each patient who travels — as a professional courtesy. Not a sales tool. A gesture. Their lifesaving card carries your name and clinic on it. They'll remember.
Among 247,000 listed professionals in 138 countries. Patients searching for "English-speaking GP Marbella" find you first. SEO-optimized, no ad spend.
When a happy patient recommends you to a friend, the friend's name and email lands in your dashboard — opt-in, GDPR-clean. Export as Excel anytime. Send Christmas cards if you want.
When the marketplace launches: post small offers to fill cancelled slots — "First 30 minutes free this Friday afternoon." Live in seconds. Patients arrive.
Or — let's talk first. Reply to info@medicus.global and we'll set up a 15-minute call.

Everything you need to know about medicus.global
Medicus operates a transparent 4-tier verification system. We never claim more than we can honestly back up.
⚠ Important: Being Level 3 Premium (a paid tier for enhanced visibility) is unrelated to verification. A doctor can be Premium without being Verified — and vice versa. We keep these separate on purpose.
"Verified" is reserved only for doctors whose identity we can prove against an official, public national registry. Currently supported:
Countries without open registries (Spain, Germany, Turkey, etc.) use the Endorsed or Self-attested tiers instead — we are honest that automatic verification is not possible there.
Choose the path that matches your country:
Hospital administrators can register at medicus.global/hospital for free. After choosing a password, you get a dashboard where you can:
Important: Endorsements belong to the doctor, not the hospital. You cannot withdraw an endorsement as retaliation — only let it expire. This protects doctors from institutional pressure.
Report the issue to report@medicus.global with the doctor's profile URL and details. We investigate every report and:
Medicus is a directory, not a licensing body. We facilitate discovery and trust signals, but ultimate responsibility for verifying fitness-to-practise lies with national medical authorities and the patient's own due diligence.
Yes — Medicus is always free for patients. Doctors and hospitals pay for enhanced visibility. You can search, view profiles, and contact any listed professional at no cost.
Click on any doctor's profile. You will see their contact options — some doctors display their phone and email directly (Premium tier); others route initial contact through our secure messaging system. All recommended doctors receive the same channels of contact.
The Medicus interface is available in 18 languages. You can filter doctors by languages they speak — useful for medical tourism or when travelling abroad.
Our initial directory of 247,000+ medical professionals is compiled from public national registries and hospital websites where such directories are publicly available. Doctors can claim their profile at any time, add information, upload documents, and request upgrades to their verification tier.
Medicus is built and operated by Global B2C Ltd (Company No. 11381812, registered in Colchester, United Kingdom). We are a small, independent team focused on making global medical directory information more trustworthy and accessible.
